This program is offered as a one day in person recertification program. Participants wanting to attend recertification courses must produce a copy of their Intermediate (Standard) First Aid certificate prior to the start of the course and it must be recognized by Alberta Occupational Health & Safety

This program is offered as Blended Learning which consists of the Online Portion and the Skills (In-Person) Portion. BLS Provider Renewal course is a fast-paced course designed for experienced healthcare providers; covering single-rescuer and multi-rescuer basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.

Please be mindful that you must complete the online portion of the course (self paced) BEFORE attending the Blended In Person component. You must complete both parts of the program to be eligible for a BLS certificate.

This course is for youth in Gr 4 (at least 9 years old) interested in exploring staying home alone. Topics include street smarts, people safety (“Tricky People”/safe strangers), online/internet safety, snacking/kitchen safety, fire safety, sibling rivalry, preventing accidents, and basic first aid.

The Babysitter's Training Workshop is appropriate for young persons in Grade 6 (or at least 12 years old). Participants will explore leadership, learn about accident prevention and basic first aid (including hands-only CPR for children/infants), and will learn how to safely build their own business.
