The Babysitter Training Workshop is appropriate for young persons in Grade 6 (or at least 12 years old). Participants will explore leadership, learn about accident prevention and basic first aid (including hands-only CPR for children/infants), and will learn how to safely build their own business.

Please be mindful that you must complete the online portion of the course (self paced) BEFORE attending the Blended In Person component. You must complete both parts of the program to be eligible for a BLS certificate.

Topics include street smarts, people safety (“Tricky People”/safe strangers), online/internet safety, snacking/kitchen safety, fire safety, sibling rivalry, preventing accidents, and basic first aid.
