The Babysitter Training Workshop is appropriate for young persons in Grade 6 (or at least 12 years old). Participants will explore leadership, learn about accident prevention and basic first aid (including hands-only CPR for children/infants), and will learn how to safely build their own business.

About the Event
This course will take place at the Wetaskiwin District Heritage Museum which is located at 5007 50 Avenue in Wetaskiwin.
We ask that students wear comfortable clothing, including clean footwear. Students are NOT permitted to leave the training centre at breaks or lunch unless written permission has been provided by the parent/guardian. We recommend students bring a water bottle and a bagged lunch. A microwave is available on site. All other necessary materials and equipment will be provided. Students who stay and participate for the full length of their course will also a receive a certificate of attendance.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled Babysitter Training workshop, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid a $25 (plus GST) rescheduling fee.
