Home Alone Safety - Saturday May 11 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
This course is for youth in Gr 4 (at least 9 years old) interested in exploring staying home alone. Topics include street smarts, people safety (“Tricky People”/safe strangers), online/internet safety, snacking/kitchen safety, fire safety, sibling rivalry, preventing accidents, and basic first aid.

About the Event
We ask that students wear comfortable clothing, including clean footwear. Students are NOT permitted to leave the training centre during the course or at breaks/lunch. We recommend students bring a water bottle and a bagged lunch though a microwave and fridge are available on site. All other necessary materials and equipment will be provided. Students who stay and participate for the full length of their course will also a receive a certificate of attendance.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled Home Alone Safety for Kids workshop, please provide a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice to avoid a $25 (plus GST) rescheduling fee.
