About the Event
This course is a one day recertification which means learners only qualify to attend if they can present a current (unexpired) Child Care First Aid certificate. Please reach out to our administrative team if you are uncertain if your certificate qualifies.
Certification Requirements and Learning Support
All learners must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to meet first aid certification requirements. Certification requires attendance, participation, competency and a written skills test - no exceptions! To help learners prepare and demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge, this course includes physical skills practice, realistic emergency scenarios, and discussions/skills practice that some may find physically or emotionally challenging. If you have concerns about participating due to a medical condition, past trauma, or learning need, please reach out to us before the start of your program so we can discuss the options available to make your learning experience positive, comfortable and successful.

Child Care First Aid - Level B
This course is appropriate for parents or anyone working in child care settings (such as a day camp, day home, day care, school, and/or foster home). Learn Level B cardiovascular care for infants and children and basic first aid with an emphasis on childhood injuries/illnesses. Cancellations at least 48 hours before the course may be refunded/transferred to another available course within 12 months of the original booking at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours receive no refunds.
