This 8 hour course provides training for cardiovascular emergencies (CPR) for adults, children and infants, as well as includes automated external defibrillator (AED) protocols and skills for dealing with obstructed airways (choking). Additional topics covered include emergency scene management, breathing emergencies, and wound care.

$135 per person (plus GST)

This 16 hour course provides training for cardiovascular emergencies (CPR) for adults, children and infants, as well as includes automated external defibrillator (AED) protocols and skills for dealing with obstructed airways (choking). Additional topics covered include emergency scene management (including secondary assessment), and treatment for breathing emergencies, head/spinal/pelvic injuries, and wound care (including bone and joint injuries).

$135 per person (plus GST)

This 17 hour training course is appropriate for parents (including foster and adoptive parents) and anyone working with children (such as in day cares, day homes, preschools, before/after school care or child related recreation programs). The course provides training cardiovascular emergencies (CPR) for adults, children and infants, as well as includes automated external defibrillator (AED) protocols and skills for dealing with obstructed airways (choking). Additional topics covered include emergency scene management (including secondary assessment), and treatment for breathing emergencies, head/spinal/pelvic injuries, and wound care (including bone and joint injuries), as well as child care specific information such as signs of abuse, signs of illness in children, legal responsibilities and policies, and medical conditions in children such as asthma, chicken pox, conjunctivitis (pink eye), constipation, croup, dental hygiene, dehydration, diarrhea, diaper rash, earaches, eczema, fever, the five rights of medication, hepatitis, immunizations, lice, measles, pertussis (Whooping Cough), pinworms, ringworms, scabies, Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and vomiting.
